On Saturday, the contractors reinforced beams, finished taking out areas above the cabinets, and took out the rest of the remaining studs from the walls we didn’t want. Yesterday, Dwayne and Jim removed all the flooring in the kitchen, dining, and living rooms.
Today, the electricity should get done and hopefully we can start the drywall and insulation tomorrow! Flooring is last and it’s difficult to estimate how long it will take to put in can lights in the living room ceiling. (Why, why, WHY are living rooms lamp-dependent? I want to SEE in my living room!)
