Operation: Hawaii (II)—Disembarkment and Unloading

easter 028

One of the many things found tucked into the pocket door.  This predates us, but the library CD lost months ago was there, too.

Dwayne and I took off for a few hours in the middle of the day, when I got a piece of debris in my eye.  We ended up at a new eye doctor (Urgent Care suggested we not waste our time there, but go to an eye specialist). Unlike last time I had an eye injury, this only scratched up my eyeball a bit and I was still able to work the rest of the day.

TADA!  The rest of the support beams have to stay up until they can be reinforced.  The electrician comes tomorrow to work on all of that.  Then comes the rest of the fun.

Did anyone get my “disembarkment” pun?  The wood is gone from the walls.

Amazing what you can get done in one day with three adults and no children.

Wow. Who would have thought you can tear apart a house like that.
