More Family Camping Pictures

I know I already posted several pictures of our camping weekend early in July. These new ones are ones from Grandma Kruger's camera.Grandma holding Piper.

Smile for the camera, Kyla!

Who's the mechanic on this trike?

Kyla refused to get her feet wet, which is why she's on Mama's shoulders.

Redmond Town Center, Fountain of Youth

We had a family date at Redmond Town Center tonight and Kyla loved the fountains. Here, she waters her belly to make it grow bigger.
Below, she washes her crackers before putting them in her belly. Yep, it's all about the belly.

Are you joking?

Okay, it's a bit creepy, but after all the hype of the Joker in The Dark Knight, I couldn't help but see a little resemblence between Kyla's post-popsicle face and the popular villian.

Piper is 5 Months Old!

Here's Piper at 3 weeks old...

And here she is today! Conquering the world one teddy bear at a time.

And one more for good measure.
Will Piper be the thrill-seeker her big sis is?

More Pictures from our Kruger Family Camp

When my brothers and I were in college and no longer partaking in family vacations, we began the tradition of meeting up one weekend every summer to camp together with Mom and Dad. The last several years, we have gone to Millersylvania State Park outside of Olympia. This year was Kyla's second Campout, and naturally, Piper's first. We survived, but I probably won't do this immediately following a VBS week again.

As usual, we spent our time eating.....
drinking....

sleeping.... playing.....

...and more sleeping.

Kyla's First Knife Fight

It was the Kruger Family Camping Weekend, and Kyla enjoys knife fighting with Uncle Brian.

Climbing Kyla

I had my back to Kyla one morning as I changed Piper. I only looked after Kyla said, in her most cheerful voice, "Mommy, Mommy, up!"
Just a week after this, I returned home from VBS. Gramma was with the girls and again, was changing Piper. Kyla performed this stunt again, and from the driveway, I was greeted with a smiling Kyla, quite pleased with herself in the window.
I believe Gramma had another gray hair.
