We broke an 8 hour journey into two parts, and went on a propaganda campaign to convince our children the journey is as much fun as the destination (Sunriver, OR, in our case). Luckily, the little café we stopped at the second day helped their attitudes (as did the extra naps). Look at this amazing butterfly pancake with edible flowers that Kyla ordered!
