Pumpkin Patch

We went pumpkin patching today with Rochelle and Mabel at a farm that advertised it’s experience as “nothing scary”, so it was just right for Rochelle and I. And, um, the kids.

Nothing scary about this mural. (Sorry, Rochelle. I do have a great picture of Mabel smiling, but my kids aren’t. And this is my blog.)

Feeding the fowl was only scary when Mabel got bitten by an over-eager duck and Kyla thought she might get bitten. Piper is not scared of anything.

The corn maze wasn’t scary. It was short and thin—easy to see through. The scarecrows were most friendly.

The wagon ride was exciting! Nothing scary.

The pumpkins were fun to choose. Nothing scary.

The piglets born just a day earlier were the cutest little pink things—not a bit scary!

Uh, oh! Mama Sow! Now that’s scary!
