We did a trial run of a family bike ride last weekend, with a ride of about 1.5 miles to the park to eat our picnic and then back for certainly less than 4 miles. Kyla rode her bike, Daddy pulled the other two in a trailer, and I roller-bladed with the stroller as a over-large picnic basket and Plan B for Kyla (who didn’t need it!).
This is the entire back of our minivan and there is no room for a second adult bike, now that it is tuned up and ready to roll. How do we need so much stuff for a little family outing?
Anyone know how much it is to put a hitch on a Sienna minivan?
But we had a good time and beat the sun back home.
