Lake Siskiyou is a private resort just outside of Mt. Shasta city. We played at the lake and rented boats and bought ice cream. Ten thumbs up!
Um, my kids didn’t build this sand castle, but we’ll take the credit, since The Cousins used our sand toys.
We rented a paddle boat for our family while Dan and his kids got canoes. They’ve been here before so they showed us the “super secret” stream that you can hike up.
Esther’s got the best place to paddle on a hot day!
These two crack me up. I especially liked it when Kara, er, “fell” out of the canoe.
This is when we discovered that while warm baths and heated pools are fine, Wesley REALLY loves glacier cold water flowing over slippery rocks. We visited two other places like this and we couldn’t keep him out of the water….or warm.
This place was so great that we returned on our last day together. (Later post.)
