I can’t think of a single thing that has gotten Dwayne and me to a mall on the weekend before Christmas in the 12+ years we’ve been together. But taking the kids to see Snow Flake Lane at Bellevue Square motivated us to fight the crowds and parking garages. Totally worth it.
It was all smiles at the festivities!
Kyla often wanders off at things like this, in a free-range kind of way. She tells me where she will be (usually up front, so she can see, since she doesn’t make the cut-off in our family for a shoulder ride) and checks in again before she moves to a new location. She and I both like it this way, which goes to show we are a pretty good parent-child match.
We don’t go to SFL just for the candy cane lollipops, but don’t ever let us leave without one!
You can’t get away from the crowds, but we find there’s more breathing room down by these guys.
Even watching the drummers leave is exciting!
I love these kids!
