Kyla turned 4 today
And now, my little girl uses the word “big”
to talk about herself.
Big girl, big helper, big sister, big preschooler, big kid.
It just reminds me that she isn’t too big yet.
Daddy drew this on the board so she would have something special to wake up to.
Many kids started school today so it was a great day to go to the zoo with some of our playgroup friends.
You’ll see this picture again in a future post to be titled: My Phil & Ted’s Double Stroller and Why I LOVE It, and all the wrong ways to use it.
Following the Don’t Make More Work For Mommy rule, we made cupcakes out of a box mix, though I did make my own cream cheese frosting (dyed pink with beet juice!). Breaking the rule, I let the girls help me.
Hey, look, the girls aren’t wearing anything! There’s a good reason for this, as you will see soon.
For some reason, all the kids were in a contemplative mood while eating tonight.
Finally, after dinner, she gets to open some presents.
