Two face painting kits, in fact, because I got a “good” one and another that is like crayons that she can use herself. Both girls really liked that one. (More on that coming up.)
We celebrated by me taking the kids to the zoo where Auntie J met. And we took in the dinosaurs one more time before they leave next week.
I like this duet of Kyla & T-Rex shots.
This is Kyla’s first paint job—she did it herself. It’s appropriate that she wore a tie-dye shirt to match her face, oui?
The more paint Wesley got on his face, the less Piper had on hers.
But that was nothing compared to when I let them play with the paint while I was making dinner tonight. Look at these kids. The good news is that I usually post cute pictures of my kids.
Yep, these are the girls that wore their Easter/Flower Girl frilly dresses all day yesterday. Even while climbing trees and jumping on the trampoline.
No birthday is complete without a few presents and some cake. Happy 5th Birthday, Sweetie!
At the grocery store, Kyla chose this flag cake. She really likes the American flag. She knows that is the flag of our country, but she confuses that sometimes with our state or even city.
So a note about the cheap crayon face paint—if your child colors his or her hair and eyes with black (to make eyeglasses), he—or—she may look vampire-ish for days. [Consumer note: The Klutz paint stayed on all day and came off with soap and water.]
