Modest Naked Time

I thought naked time was becoming a thing of the past, but it’s reared it’s bare self once again.

Piper thought to wear 2 pairs of underwear.

Sunday Picnic

My parents used to take us kids on Sunday afternoon picnics often when were growing up.  My kids were a little impatient and wanted to start their picnic before church.  The girls spread out Piper’s quilt on the kitchen floor and got out the boxes of play food. They then invited Wesley and I to the picnic.  (Daddy was in the shower at the time.)  We had fruit and cupcakes.

 

Hm, so much for protecting Wes from choking hazards.

It was a busy morning of the girls.  Before the picnic, I snapped this shot of them playing Baby. Usually Piper is the mom, but this time Kyla got to tuck her Baby Piper in the doll crib.

Engrossed

It is easy to love your sister when you are both completely hypnotized by the video.  Oh, so serious!  You’d think they were watching a foreign classic instead of Blue’s Clues.

But I adore Piper’s arm around Kyla.

Housekeeping

I was doing some cleaning up and thought to look on top of the bookshelf—a place I am confident that only I can reach to hide no-touches.

Beauty Parlor

We went to Gramma and Papa’s for a “daycation”.  One of the best things about about Gramma is that she keeps a tube of lipstick that she lets the girls use when they visit.  Piper helped me apply mine.  Wesley managed to escape the facial improvements.  This time.
